I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at Goethe University Frankfurt.

​

My research focuses on connecting the fields of Macro-Finance, International Finance, and Banking, with a particular interest in exploring the role of global banks and monetary policy for the foreign exchange markets and financial stability.

​

Prior to starting my PhD, I studied at CEMFI, the University of Mannheim and visited Stockholm University, the Banco de España and the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) Mannheim.

 

During my PhD, my research has benefitted from visits to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Boston University, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
